CHOONG MAN CHICKEN! Me and the kids were very excited to try this place out in Fairfax. I won’t go into the details here, but my son and I were confined to our car with an order of Choong Man Chicken in the car and we could only partake of the delicious smell of the takeout. We vowed to go and eat for ourselves sooner rather than later. Our travels last week took us to Fairfax, just 2 miles from a Choong Man. “Sooner” was upon us, and we were not disappointed!
Shown here is Ginger and Soy chicken wings and Ginger and Soy whole chicken, along with curly fries. The whole chicken was interesting, as they butchered the whole chicken into smaller pieces and cooked them wing style with the Ginger and Soy sauce. Surprisingly, the cold leftovers tasted better than hot and fresh, IMO.
Looking forward to trying their other flavors in a return visit, hopefully before the summer is out.
