John: We went to Passion Fin in Ashburn last night, which is our regular sushi stop. As always, the sushi was excellent. I’ve been getting back to the basics with sushi, with more simple rolls and two piece sushi. The basic salmon sushi is always a highlight. Shown in the picture is Black Dragon roll, Ocean Roll, salmon sushi, tuna sushi, and yellowtail sushi. The green roll was a special roll which had seaweed on the outside. I believe it was called “CC” roll. It was ok. Not sure I’d get it again.
As always, everyone was super nice, and the regular host and bartender stopped by to say hello. We even got a hug!
